Global Rhythms ~ Miami University ~ Oxford, OH

Global Rhythms was conceived in 1996 by Miami alumnus Srinivas Krishnan. Concerts every fall stage 450 performers and draw an audience of up to 1400 over two nights. Its mission is to perform ethnic music from non-western cultures using both western and original instruments. The group is open to all students at Miami University with an interest in world music. The project has grown from just five members in its first year to a number of world class singers and instrumentalists performing side by side with Miami’s own faculty and students. The performances feature international dancers, ensembles, and Miami University's own symphony orcestra and several choirs. The goal of this website is to present photo coverage from the shows.

This website is under construction and will include galleries and slideshows from the last decade's concerts.
The photos presented here are from "glam UP 2011" which took place September 23 & 24 in Hall Auditorium, Oxford, Ohio.
